Bio:
Tantra Bensko, with an MFA from the Iowa Writers Workshop, teaches fiction writing with UCLA Extension Writing Program, Writers College, Writers.com, and her Online Writing Academy. A couple hundred of her stories appear in magazines and anthologies and various publishers have put out her books, including ISMs Press and ELJ Publications. She lives in Berkeley.

Long Bio:
Tantra Bensko, with an MA from Florida State and an MFA from the Iowa Writers Workshop, teaches fiction writing with UCLA Extension Writing Program, Writers College, Writers.com, and her Online Writing Academy. A couple hundred of her stories and nearly a hundred of her poems appear in magazines and anthologies, such as Unlikely Stories, Strange Little Girls, NonBinary Review. She has also written many book reviews and literary theory.

She won many honors such as the Iowa Journal of Literary Studies and the Academy of American Poets Awards. Various publishers have put out her books, including ISMs Press and ELJ Publications. She has also published many authors in book and magazine format.

Her art and photography have been widely published and displayed Internationally and she has held a variety of positions in the artistic field, including being Art Director of Mad Hatters Review. She is passionate about exploring the history of mass social engineering and blogs about it. Her book series is related to that concept. She lives in Berkeley where she has read at numerous venues.

The predominant theme throughout the series is the heroism possible when recognizing the psychological manipulation inherent in society such as we see in propaganda on the news, counterintelligence hoaxes, infiltration and disruption of groups, blackmailing of officials and creation of trends for an agenda.

  24. In some of The Agents of the Nevermind, you include auras, telepathy, egregores, alchemy, magick, and other such esoteric practices. How are we supposed to take those?

  26. The motto of your series is - We can be heroes by recognizing, resisting, and exposing social engineering. Can you speak to that?
