About This Site
The Nevermind Psychological Suspense Series
Adult edgy, realistic novels where dubious secret agents lurk and hypnotize the unsuspecting. And the agents may be anyone. Not even they know for sure. Can the disinformationists be overcome in time?
"A Tantra Bensko character enters her story in one door, then comes out lots of different ones at the same time. And so do we." - Sharon Coleman, introducing feature reading at Pegasus Books.
The Pages in this site:
The focus is the launching of The Agents of the Nevermind series of suspense books that could also be called crime fiction, psychological suspense, occult novels, or spy thrillers. Psychological Suspense/Thrillers discusses the overarching genre. If you feel like it stop in and compare favorite books in Connectivity . Media Kit includes a list of possible questions for interviewers to ask. Magazines/Anthologies includes a few published crime stories. Gift for Subscribers is the password protected page you can enter if you sign up to receive the extras. Gift for Engineering of Society is extraneous to this site, as it's where people who sign up for that site can go for their gift. You can read about the novels and novellas in the series in the rest of the pages on this site.
A bit about the first two books:
Glossolalia: A Psychological Suspense:
Nancy chases a waste truck carrying poison from D-CIDE, her uncle's pesticide company where she works. The poison has been locked up in the storage container out back for years, because dumping it was banned. In trying to stop the ecological crime, she discovers nothing was what it seemed.
A small country attempts to free itself from the US petrodollar. Its most famous quarterback plays in the NFL, still praising his leader's boldness. All eyes will be on him at the big game.
Remember to Recycle:
Becky, an artist, notices things out of place in her apartment, though she lives alone. A blob of goo on the ironing board. The notes are out of order; on top should be the one she wrote that morning recording her nightmares about Stan, who has been videotaping a series of precise and mysterious contortions he arranges her into.
A man who lives by going through people's recycling lives under a bridge nearby. He lays out his personas on the wet concrete. He has just the right combination of sidewalk-score costumes to get the job done. He knows everything about Becky. And everyone else in the neighborhood.
When Becky hears a muffled sound on the phone when talking to Stan, she hires her friend Nancy to investigate to see if he's cheating on her. When Nancy spies on him, revelations lead to a story about real corruption as the heart of our political system.
Tantra has contributed recently to a #1 International Best selling book, won a Readers Favorite Award Gold Medal for Glossolalia, and the highly coveted RECOMMENDED status from US Review of Books.

Every book presents murder. Characters solve puzzles of subconscious manipulation involving hypnosis, virtual reality, brainwashing, the placebo effect, occult rituals, hoaxes, popular media misdirection, psychotronics, and mass social engineering.
The series begins with gritty realism and as it progresses, the mysterious strangeness of the world shines through Enochian magick sigils, egregores, advanced technology, remote influencing, scrying, alchemy, auras, and the unexplained.
The nefarious Agents of the Nevermind lurk around the corners. Protagonists fight against the dumbing down of society to bring the empowering truth out before it's too late.
Welcome to the Insubordinate world.

Sign up for the newsletter to be alerted when books are available.
Newsletters and the page you are given the access code for include some kind of secrets, sometimes little personal things related to the books, as well as usually little known information about DARPA's advanced technology, social sciences and history, unsuspected relationships between elements such as religion and politics, the occult and espionage, counterintelligence and alternative news, hoaxes and widely accepted beliefs, consciousness studies and human potential.
I'll be writing articles about some of these topics and talking about them on podcasts, articles, etc. in public, but the newsletter videos are casual, with history and science.
You can enjoy the books even if you aren't drawn so much to social sciences but just like heart pounding entertainment about lovable characters striving to survive and make a difference to the world. You can skip all the informational background parts of the newsletters if you like and just focus on notices of when books will come out so if you're interested, you can buy them.
The best time to buy is during the first week they're available to make them swell in the charts, drawing more attention to them, giving them traction to be seen by other interested parties. That would be hugely appreciated, as of course are Amazon reviews!

I'll keep this website streamlined for people just interested in getting in and out fast, finding information on entertaining books and discovering if the visitors resonate with the real-world issues referenced in the novels, novellas, and short stories enough to enjoy them.
But there's more for people who want to explore.
You're invited to Tantra's Genre Fiction. That is my Wordpress site focused on Science Fiction and other popular types of stories and topics, as well as including a few stories that are Slipstream, etc. but which may appeal to the wider Genre audience.
TantraBensko on Tumblr also includes articles related to some way to my writing, teaching, riffing off topics in the books, including images and fun.
I briefly let people know about all my new publications at my blog at the resource site, Everything Experimental Writing. These range from avant-garde to crime fiction.
I'm on Pinterest, with boards for organic, creative natural architecture, health, art, fiction, writing, landscapes, Melungeons, social engineering, and more. Yes, my heritage is Melungeon.
I teach writing and edit manuscripts, at Tantra Bensko's Online Writing Academy.
For people wanting to know the basic history and terminology I use regarding social engineering (for example, what is the meaning of that phrase before the new meaning was born?) you may venture into the more dangerous waters of The Engineering of Society. You can sign up for that sporadic newsletter if you like.
If you're intrigued by Literary, readings, education, interviews, reviews, awards, etc. check out the much more substantial website, Lucid Membrane.

"I find myself blown away, over and over again as I read your work.
I know that I'm reading something good when I say something out loud as I read, or point to the screen, or read something again because I enjoyed it.
It's almost like when I have a really good dessert. The kind of dessert where you put that very first piece in your mouth, and you think "Oh, my God." and you close your eyes. Where with every bite, you shake your head because it is that good."
